Pie season is right around the corner and at least for our family, the selection of pies is the most important part of our Thanksgiving feast. We have many must-have recipes for our holiday table, like my world famous Praline Sweet Potatoes and Amish Potato Rolls, but all of those just lead us to the final and most important act: the selection of pies.
I am well known for having a killer, no fail pie crust in all of my pies, but when I am making a million other recipes for the big holiday menu, I love my no bake pies! This easy chocolate cream pie recipe with an Oreo pie crust only has three simple ingredients and comes together literally in less than 5 minutes.

One of my favorite aspects of this easy chocolate cream pie recipe is that I don’t need to pull out my big mixer. Just a mixing bowl and my favorite hand mixer is all it takes for this no bake pie. If you are looking to save a few calories, feel free to use sugar free pudding mix. It works just as well!

This easy chocolate cream pie recipe only has 4 ingredients and comes together in a snap! Perfect for Thanksgiving dinner when time is short.
Ingredients
- 1 prepared Oreo pie crust
- 1 1/2 C cold skim milk
- 1 1/2 C cold heavy cream
- large (5.9 oz) box of instant chocolate pudding (you can use sugar free)
- whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, add the pudding mix then using an electric hand mixer, slowly add the milk and beat on low. Let the mixture become lump free, then add the heavy cream. Beat on high until the chocolate cream mixture becomes thick. Spoon the finished mixture into the prepared Oreo pie crust, cover and refrigerate for one hour before serving. Add some whipped cream over the top if desired!
Notes
This pie can be made 3 days in advance and stays well in the fridge.
