Goat Cheese Appetizer that comes together in just a few minutes.  Makes the perfect dish for a party and is a super easy appetizer recipe.  You can substitute blue cheese or feta if you would like.  You will never guess what I use as the base for this bowl of deliciousness!
Goat Cheese Appetizer
This 3 Ingredient {Idiot Proof} Appetizer recipe from Half Baked Harvest had me a little worried. I can’t tell you how many times I have unintentionally made a compete idiot of myself! The last thing I want to do is have it confirmed by a simple 3 ingredient appetizer recipe with the words “idiot proof” in the title. What if I am the ONE person who can’t make it? It looked so incredible and sounded so easy I decided it was worth the risk and went for it.
Technically this recipe for Goat Cheese Appetizer has 4 ingredients if you count the parsley that is added as a garnish. Don’t underestimate the parsley as it adds the perfect accent flavor to the blue cheese and the splash of color makes the appearance even more appealing.
The big question……how did it turn out? The answer, I’m a genius for trying this out! It tasted FANTASTIC! I had two friends stop by just as it came out of the oven and they were more than willing to give it a try. They both raved about how great it tasted and did not want to leave without the recipe.Â
If you are short on time and need an impressive appetizer, be a genius and make this Goat Cheese Appetizer recipe that will wow your friends and family! Be sure to let them compliment you all night about how impressive it was. Wait until you are walking out the door before you tell them it only took 15 minutes and 4 ingredients to make.
A super easy, idiot-proof appetizer recipe that comes together really quick and tastes amazing!
Total Time:20 minutes
Yield:10 servings 1x

1 (12 ounce) can Biscuits (Pillsbury Grands taste the best)
1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter

Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Melt the butter and pour into a 9 inch pie plate.
Cut each biscuit into quarters and place in the pie plate with the butter.
Toss the biscuits in the butter so that the sides of the biscuits get coated in butter. They taste better this way and will brown more evenly.
Sprinkle your blue cheese (feta or goat) over the biscuits.
If desired sprinkle with fresh cilantro or parsley.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and bubbly. Watch closely it burns very easily!
Serve with toothpicks or mini appetizer forks. Enjoy!
