3/4 cup salted butter
2 (10-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
1 (12-ounce) box rice crispy cereal
2/3 cup butterscotch chips
1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large pan over high heat. Allow it to melt then keep stirring as it foams and the butter begins to brown. Once the butter becomes deep brown in color, remove it from the heat and add the marshmallows. Stir until they melt.
- In a very large bowl, mix together the cereal, chips, and salt. Add the melted marshmallows. Stir well to fully combine.
- Place mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan and press down. Allow to cool before cutting.
