Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheerios Chunks

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups Cheerios
  • 1/3 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter

Instructions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, microwave the semi sweet chocolate chips until melted. I put mine in for 45 seconds then took it out and mixed it and then put it back in for 20 second increments until ready. Be careful not to leave the chocolate in the microwave for too long or the chocolate will overcook. You can also melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  2. Pour 1 to 1 1/4 cups cereal into semi sweet chocolate mixture. Mix well so that the chocolate completely covers all parts of the cereal.  If you like more chocolate on your cereal, then add less cereal. You are the master of your own destiny with this! After mixing, set aside.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, melt your white chocolate chips. After melted, add the crunchy peanut butter and mix until well blended then add the remainder of the cereal
  4. In any shape silicone mold, alternately start “plopping” spoonfuls of both the semi sweet mixture and peanut butter mixture together. I also used a cupcake tin with cupcake liners and that also worked fine.
  5. When done, put your molds or tins into the refrigerator to set. When set, remove them from your mold and then watch them disappear!
