Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 16oz brown sugar
- 3 TBL cold water
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 4 1/2 cup oatmeal
- Raisins, chocolate chips and nuts can be added to your taste.
- I usually use 2 to 2/12 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips and then throw in the raisins till I think it’s a good balance.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together the butter and sugars. Add eggs and water. Mix dry ingredients together and then add to the creamed mixture.
- Drop by teaspoonful on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes.
