Healthy taco salad recipe that is ready to go in 15 minutes!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, turkey, or chicken

3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 teaspoons chili powder

1 1/2 teaspoons cumin

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped

2 tomatoes, chopped

2 avocados, sliced

15-ounce can corn, drained

15-ounce can black or pinto beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup shredded cheese

Chopped cilantro

Sour cream or ranch dressing

Tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over high heat. Add ground beef, kosher salt, and pepper. Cook on high heat until all the pink is gone. Add the remaining seasonings and set aside.
  2. Assemble the salad on 4 individual plates. Divide the ground beef and toppings evenly between all four plates. Serve with sour cream or ranch dressing, as well as tortilla chips.
