Ingredients

2 cups jasmine rice
14 ounce can unsweetened coconut milk
1 cup water
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Rinse the jasmine rice until the water runs clear. Drain away any excess water.
- Combine the ingredients in the pot of the rice cooker. See note below for stovetop instructions.
- Use the white rice setting and cook.
- Once finished cooking, let set for 5-10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
Notes
Stovetop instructions: increase water to 1 1/2 cups. Bring the rice to a boil over high heat, reduce to low and cover. Let cook for 20 minutes. Once done, let sit for 5 minutes before fluffing.
