Ingredients
1 pound cubed russet or gold potatoes
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 clove fresh garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, tossing to be sure each potato is evenly coated.
- Preheat the basket of your air fryer to 400 degrees.
- Pour the potatoes into the hot basket and cook at 400 degrees for 9 minutes.
- Shake the basket well and cook at 400 degrees for another 9-12 minutes. The amount of time will depend on the power level of your air fryer as well as how brown you like your roasted potatoes.
Notes
This recipe was written using a 1500-watt machine. If you have a  1300-watt, you will need longer time to cook and less time if you have a 1700-watt.
If you want to make this recipe with onions, simply slice half a small onion and add it in with the potatoes before adding the oil and seasonings.
