Instructions

  1. Determine the power level of your air fryer. Usually on the bottom or inside of the fryer there is a sticker that will tell you the power level. This recipe was tested using a 1500-watt fryer. If yours is a different power level, you will need to adjust the cook time up or down by 2-3 minutes, depending on if it is more or less powerful.
  2. Place the eggs inside the basket of your air fryer, leaving space between the eggs so the hot air can circulate.
  3. Cook the eggs at 250 degrees for 13 minutes for soft boiled, 15 minutes for medium, or 17 minutes for  hard boiled. The ones pictured are medium.
  4. As soon as they are done cooking, put them in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes. This stops the cooking and allows for easy peeling.
  5. Peel the eggs right after their cold bath for the easiest peeling experience. Store peeled eggs in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

If your air fryer only goes down to 300 degrees, you will need to reduce the cooking time to 8-12 minutes. This hot of a temperature will result in a bit tougher egg white but it will work.
