Air Fryer Biscuits

Ready in just a few minutes and perfectly tender and buttery!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 5 biscuits 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon granulated sugar

rounded 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and kosher salt. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the melted butter to the cold buttermilk and stir until the butter begins to firm up into small pieces of butter. Add to the well in the center of the dry ingredients.
  3. Gently mix together the dry into the wet. Mix only until it comes together. If your mixture is still too dry, add a small dash of buttermilk. Do not overmix or you will end up with tough biscuits.
  4. Divide the dough into 5 even portions and drop them into the basket of your air fryer.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. The amount of time will depend on the power level of your machine. See the note below.
  6. If desired, you can brush the top with additional melted butter and then serve.

Notes

This recipe was made using a 1500-watt machine. If yours is a 1300-watt, you will need a longer baking time. If you have a 1700-watt machine, you will need less.
